Grammy-winning producer Timbaland has confirmed reports of his Shock Value 2 album being underway and said the project would feature his best production and appearances by Drake, Jay-Z, Chris Brown, Pharrell and more.
Tim also explained why fans should expect to hear better production from what he provided on Jay-Z's The Blueprint 3 forShock Value 2.

JADAKISS CONFIMS POLICE RAID
D-Block's Jadakiss has confirmed reports of a drug raid at his Yonkers, New York apartment, which was followed by two arrests, by police last week.
Kiss denied being at the home when the drug bust took place and has reportedly not visited the apartment for months.
"What happened on Saturday was an unfortunate situation, but one in which I have no involvement in," Kiss said in a statement sent to SOHH. "Since the release of my recent album Last Kiss, I have been on the road touring and promoting my project. I am focused on my performance schedule and career." (Statement)
According to police, multiple amounts of narcotics were discovered in the rapper's waterfront home last Friday (August 21).
Two city men were arrested on drug charges, and officers are trying to determine why 6[0xff] pounds of marijuana, 5 grams of heroin and a large stash of cash were found in rapperJadakiss' waterfront apartment, police said yesterday (August 24). Jadakiss, the 34-year-old Yonkers rapper, "is not wanted at this time," Lt. Joseph Monaco said. Arrested were Alberto Lajara, 25, of 108 Smart Ave. and Gabriel R. Henriquez, 39, of 102 Lake Ave. (Lower Hudson News)
The incident took place Friday (August 21) morning.
Sean Fogarty and Edward Murphy were driving by the apartment located at 1 Van der Donk St. in Yonkers, when they noticed a car parked on the sidewalk. Upon approaching the vehicle, which was driven by Lajara, officers smelled marijuana and later uncovered a bag containing the drug in the front of the car. Police also questioned Henriquez, who was a passenger in the car and was also in possession of the keys to Jadakiss' apartment. While being questioned, the 39-year-old became nervous and attempted to run from police before being apprehended. After learning that Henriquez was coming from the apartment, authorities obtained a search warrant for the residency, where they found both the drugs and cash. (The Boom Box

Skull Gang leader LaRon "Juelz Santana" James has reportedly been released from a New Jersey police station on $5,000 bond and charged with making terroristic threats towards his alleged girlfriend.
The rapper will also be due back in court early next month.
Teaneck police charged Santana, whose real name is LaRon James, with making terroristic threats and possessing a weapon. He's free on $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Municipal Court on Sept. 9. Capt. Dean Kazinci says Santana's girlfriend told police a verbal dispute became physical Tuesday. Kazinci says the rapper told officers the woman was the aggressor and she had the knife. Police say the girlfriend, whose name was not released, had minor injuries that did not require medical treatment. (Associated Press)
Shortly after the arrest, Santana's rep released a statement clarifying previous reports of the rapper threatening his "wife."

Details surrounding the upcoming Eminem, Drake, Kanye West and Lil Wayne collaboration track for LeBron James' More Than A Game documentary have landed online and the song has been confirmed by Young Money President Mack Maine.
While the artists have yet to release a statement on the song, the producer's name has already been announced.
The record is from the More Than A Game soundtrack and is credited to Drake featuring the three rap heavyweights. Due Friday. Produced by Boi-1da. That guy hit the jackpot. Ha! (Rap Radar)

COPS RAID JADA CRIB..!!!
August 25, 2009. We may have ONE LESS rapper on the streets in a minute. Jayblog.TV learned that yesterday NY police executed a SEARCH WARRANT on rapper Jadakiss’ Yonkers NY, apartment. The search resulted in the seizure of 5 grams of heroin, 6.5 pounds of marijuana and $40,000.
Jadakiss. whose real name is Jason Phillips, wasn’t in the apartment at the time police executed a search warrant. So far police say haven’t issued an arrest warrant. But if we know the NY police – that’s coming soon!!

DRAKE INKS PERSONAL MESSAGE TO HIS FANS
Drake has written a personal message to his fans based on the responsibilities, he feels, which come with being "famous" and he addressed the real reasons behind his upcoming So Far Gone re-release.
Reflecting on his career up until now, as a signed member of Lil Wayne's Young Money record label, Drizzy envisioned what he hopedfuture icons would be able to embody.
"People often ask me the craziest part about becoming 'famous' and I've never had an answer until yesterday," he wrote Thursday (August 20). "'You'll spend half of your time defending yourself and the other half trying to stay sane resulting in you being forced to find time to be creative.' I often wonder in a time where new artists exist in a impersonal cyber world of instantaneous information, if we will ever have another rap legend that can manage to maintain the image that our idols had prior to this method of promotion. I am not suggesting that this person should be me, I am just urging a generation to understand that in order to have anyone of any significance in our lives that we can look up to there will be things that we must look past. BOW WOW SPEAKS ON SIGNING TO CASHMONEY
Bow Wow has inked an open letter to fans who have questioned his new alliance with Lil Wayne, Baby and their Young Money and Cash Money record labels.
In addition to speaking on Weezy and Baby, Bow Wow also promised his relationship with former boss Jermaine Dupri has not been effected.
"To the naysayers, I hope that you give me the opportunity to earn your respect," he wrote Tuesday (August 18) night. "I know that over the years I've put many of my faults on display which I make no excuses for. I'm young and I've made mistakes and I will make more. No different than any other 22 year old, I still have some growing up to do...To anyone who's confused or says I don't belong in Cash Money. Let me remind you that I've been down with Baby, Slim, Wayne and the whole Cash Money family from the beginning. 10 years ago when we really were 'Lil' me and Wayne did a song for the Hardball movie soundtrack. Baby was influential in my third album. Last year, Wayne and I spent 2 months together in New Orleans filming Hurricane Season. Grammy-winning rapper Jay-Z has been chosen to headline MTV's Video Music Awards 2009 ceremony next month as its first announced hip-hop performer.
In addition to Hov, other artists including newcomer Lady Gaga have also been chosen to perform.
Jay-Z and Lady Gaga have been booked to perform at the VMAs, joining an already impressive list that includes Taylor Swift, Green Day, Pink and Muse. Jay -- whose gnarly "D.O.A. NICKI MINAJ SHAPES DEBUT DIRECTION, "I'D LIKE TO GEAR MY ALBUM TOWARDS POP"
Lil Wayne protege Nicki Minaj has described some of the sound she is aiming for with her new album and, to her, it's bigger than hip-hop.
While the project is still being worked on, Nicki did point out which artists and overall sound she would like to secure.
"All of my biggest records that I've done so far for the album have been just me alone," she revealed in an interview. "I don't really know if I wanna do too many features for my album because I think my mixtapes have been, you know, inundated with features and people need to know who Nicki Minaj is now. And as of right now as far as producers I have a lot of up-and-coming producers and I'm not big on, you know, big name producers although I'd love to work with Will.I.Am. And as far as artists go, you know, I just don't know at this point. I love people like Natasha Bedingfield, I love her singing voice and Amy Winehouse's singing voice and I'd like to gear my album probably towards pop so probably if anything I'll have a lot of those type of features on it. But not too much rap because I am a rap girl and thats what I do and I don't think I need to have many different rappers on my album." (New Lil Wayne)
